Glenn N. Phillips Obituary

Glenn Nelson Phillips, age 74, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at home.


Glenn was a graduate of Brandywine High School and served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He was a supervisor for the News Journal and retired as a truck driver. Glenn spent many years volunteering and umpiring services for the Brandywine Little League and was a member of many fantasy football leagues.


He was predeceased by his parents, Nelson and Frances Phillips; brothers, David Phillips and Charles Phillips. Glenn is survived by his brother, Steven Phillips; fiancée, Patricia Weber; children, Brian Phillips (Nichele), Kevin Phillips (Catherine), Michele Haas (Kyle); stepchildren, Nick Gordon (Lauren), Melissa Nguyen(Josh),  Kelly Weber, Krissy Weber; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by ex-spouses, Tina Cusick and Linda Phillips.


A Committal Service will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 1pm at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, Delaware 19701.
