Gloria Bledsoe Obituary
Gloria Bledsoe, age 96, of Claymont, DE died on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at her home.
Gloria was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, a former member of Brandywine Senior Center, and Red Wood Senior Center in Upland, PA. Gloria enjoyed gardening, cooking and she was a welder for the Dravo Shipyard during World War II.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ernest V. Bledsoe, who died in 1988; her parents, Dominick and Catherine Lanci; and her brother, Primo Lanci. She is survived by her daughter, Arlene F. Dillman and her husband, Charles; her son, Eugene E. Bledsoe; and her sister, Helen Gawel.
A private viewing and funeral service will be held at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE. Burial will also be private in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.
