Hiram C. Vaughn, Jr.

Hiram Clayton Vaughn, Jr., age 67, of Harrington DE passed away peacefully at home May 30, 2020.

Born in Wilmington Delaware, he was the son of the late Hiram Clayton Vaughn Sr. and Kathleen Augustus Vaughn.

Hiram always had a smile to share and a story to tell.  He was a kind-hearted, fun loving passionate soul.  He never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. He was passionate about spreading the word of Jesus, which lead him to many travels throughout the world. He was a loving husband of 49 years to his high school sweet-heart, a loving father to his 3 children, and adored being a poppop of all girl grand-kids.

Hiram is preceded in death by his parents, Hiram C. and Kathleen A. Vaughn, sister, Eleanor Rein and brother, Victor A. Rein. He is survived by his wife, Janice D. Vaughn, his brother, Charles C. Vaughn (Marcy Vaughn), his sons, Thomas C. Vaughn, Hiram C. Vaughn III (Denetra D. Vaughn), his daughter, Kathleen C Lewis (Brian Lewis), his granddaughters, Katelyn N. Adams, August K. Lewis, Daysha C. Vaughn, Margaret E. Vaughn, Tia M. Vaughn, and Jessica P. Lewis.
