Joan M. Abbott

Joan M. Abbott, age 70, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2019.

Joan is survived by her twin sister, Jane Abbott; and her brother, Albert Abbott. 

She was born in Wilmington, DE, where she and her sister enjoyed bowling, darts and traveling.  They were also the first set of blind twins to get their Red Cross Lifesaving certificates. Joan was one of the first people in Delaware who was blind to become a foster parent.
