John S. Talone

John S. Talone, age 60, of Claymont, DE passed away at his home on November 21, 2020.

John was the son of  the late Catherine (DiPietro) Talone  (2011) and Joseph R. Talone, Sr. (1991).  John and his twin brother Joe were born on March 1, 1960.  Joseph predeceased him in August of 2011.

John was a long time resident of Claymont, graduating from Claymont High School. In 1978.

John was an avid sports enthusiast who loved to follow his favorite teams.    John especially loved the Philadelphia Eagles and was one of their most devoted fans. He enjoyed watching, complaining and defending his beloved Eagles.  John also enjoyed college football, especially Clemson and Penn State, but nothing could top his devotion to his Eagles.

John also had a love for cooking, most especially preparing Italian meals. 

John overcame many obstacles in his life, but through his determination and good humor he persevered.  John will be missed by many cousins, Colleen Schrader, Angelo Zullitti, Anne Marie Cooke, Sandra Szilagyi and Tina Brunetti, along with his extended family and circle of friends. 

Special thanks to Robin Juvennelliano  from Bayada Nursing for her care and friendship over the past years.  Thank you to all the nurses and staff that helped John enjoy his independent life. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Association , Delaware Valley Chapter, 240 N James Street, Suite 100A, Newport, DE 19804.

Due to Covid restrictions, burial will be private.
