Karl D. Weldin

Karl Douglas Weldin, age 72, a lifelong resident of Claymont, DE passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Parkview Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Wilmington, DE.

Karl was a graduate of Claymont High School and served in the U.S. Navy. Karl was the owner of Precision Hair Crimpers and Reagan’s Tavern in Wilmington, DE. He also worked as a carpenter. 

Karl was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Joel Weldin and Concepcion Fernandez Weldin.   He is survived by his sister, Karen Weldin Stewart.

A Visitation will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 from 11am to 12pm at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, where a Memorial Service will begin at 12pm.  Inurnment will follow in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 2321 Westchester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
