Linda L. Klingler

Linda L. Klingler (Foster), age 80, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of New Castle, DE passed away January 18, 2025 at home.

Born in Wilmington, DE, Linda was the daughter of the late, Margaret L. Davis and Merryman Allen. She was a graduate of William Penn High School in New Castle, DE.

Linda was a member of Holloway Terrace Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered at AMVETS and the VA Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, horseback riding and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husbands: Freddie L. Foster and Bob Annand, as well as sisters: Lillian Quillen, Lana Mitchell, Bonnie Arnold; and brother: Gordon Allen.

Linda is survived by her children: Freddie Foster (Cheryl) of FL, Mike Foster (Cindy) of CO, Renee Clark of DE, Jeff Foster (Peggy) of DE, Gordon Foster of DE; thirteen grandchildren: sixteen great -grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and siblings: Connie Glover (Bill) of NJ, Peggy Small (Rickey) of SC.          

A viewing will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 10am to 11am at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, where a funeral service will begin at 11am.  Burial will be private.
