Mary Frances Liebner (Egan) passed away on Sunday, March 17th, 2019, surrounded by her family. Born in New York City in 1925, Mary lived in Stamford, CT, and Copiague, NY before settling in Willingboro, NJ where she lived for 25 years. Most recently Mary lived in Cape May County and spent time with her son and daughter in Northern California.
As a young woman, Mary attended Fordham University and worked as a volunteer for the Catholic Worker Friendship House in Harlem, NY. She eventually met and married James George Liebner and together they raised 10 children. In later years, Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and taking trips to the beach.
Mary is survived by her brother, James Egan. Her four sons: James, Kevin, Christopher (Carole), and Michael. Her six daughters: Marian Watson (Paul), Maureen Brown (Chip), Mary Novoa (Cesar), Regina Deasey, Dolores Dicicco, and Sharon Hewett (Bill). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and her niece and nephew, Laura and Daniel Egan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Egan, her husband James George Liebner and her grandson, Daniel Novoa.
