Michael E. Dikeman, age 50, passed away in his home on Friday, September 13, 2019.

Michael was born June 30, 1969 in Wilmington, Delaware.  He loved to fish and hunt, collect guns, spend time with his family and listen to blues music.  Michael was a true family man and peacekeeper who was best known for his infectious smile and compassionate spirit.  His favorite saying was, “Why can’t we all just get along?” 

Michael was preceded in death by his father John, his older brother William “Bil” Cooper, and his best friend in life, Carl Raye.  He is survived by his mother, Lynda Dikeman; sisters, Angela Dikeman and Christine Morris; nieces, Danielle Gomez, Tatiana Cooper, Carolyn Flemming, Crystal Raye and Erica Marino; nephew, David Raye; and partner of 11 years, Dawn Ward.

A Viewing will be held at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:00am, where a Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am.  Burial will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE 19805.
