Nancy J. Smith, age 81, of Wilmington, DE, died Friday, August 23, 2024 at the home of her son, Ronald L. Dale, Sr., and his wife Amy.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Walter L. Smith and her companion, Harry A. Dale, Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald L. Dale, Sr. (Amy) of Wilmington, DE and Harry A. Dale, Jr. (Jacquie) of Newark, DE; her daughter, Robin Gaydos of Wilmington, DE; her 8 grandchildren, and her 7 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Pkwy, New Castle, DE 19720.
