Paula R. Thomas of Wilmington, DE and New Castle, DE passed away on September 3, 2021 with her wife Jackie by her side

Paula was a 1972 graduate of McKean High and the University of Delaware in 1976 with a Bachelor’s Degree. Paula had a very successful career in kitchen and bath design. Afterwards, she started her own business in the ancient art of seat weaving, and had a antique resale shop. Paula started her own charity she called the Dish Garden, she would buy and take donations of dishes, flatware and anything kitchen related. She would then distribute to folks in need.

Among Paula’s many hobbies were music, going to auctions, gardening, watching the Phillies and Eagles and most of all cooking and having Thanksgiving for the family.

Paula was predeceased by her father, James, her mother, Ruth, and her brothers, David and Jim. She is survived by her wife, Jacqueline Palmer, and her entire Palmer family, who she loved dearly. Her wife would like to thank the Palmer family for helping with her care. She will be dearly missed.
