Thomas Bianco Obituary

Thomas Bianco, age 72, passed away at home on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

Known by his family and friends as Tommy, (and Slim by his childhood friends) he was born on October 6, 1948, and was the son of the late Tom and Mary Bianco of Clifton Heights, PA.

Tommy worked in carpentry with his father for many years before starting his own carpentry business.  In 1997, he and his wife, Judy, moved to Houston, Texas and he started working at Home Depot.  He loved working there so much that when they returned to the Wilmington area from Texas, he continued working at Home Depot.  Even after retiring, he would often go to Home Depot to visit his old working buddies.

Tommy loved people and loved talking to everyone he came in contact with, whether he knew them or not.  He was a kind and gentle soul, and loved his family above all.  He was so loved by his family and friends.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy; his beloved son, Brian; and his sister, Jeannette.

He is also survived by his Uncle and Aunt, Elmo and RoseMarie Bianco of Broomall, PA; his Aunt Frances Wall of Ocean City, NJ; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as his sisters-in-law and  brothers-in-law, all of whom loved him dearly.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services and Mass will be held privately.  Private burial will be held at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, Tommy would love if you consider giving a donation in his name to the Delaware Humane Association,  701 A Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
