Tyler John Matthew McAloon

Tyler John Matthew McAloon passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his home in Wilmington, DE at the age of 27.

Tyler was a strong, caring young man who loved spending time with his parents watching his favorite teams–Duke, the Boston Celtics, and the Dallas Cowboys. He also cherished his time with his girlfriend, Sarah Hannig and their dog, Durk.

A 2013 graduate of Concord High School, Tyler excelled in basketball, playing for a number of teams including Holy Rosary Catholic School, Concord High, and an AAU team. Hardworking and fun-loving, Tyler enjoyed his lawn maintenance job and running around with his dog in his parents’ backyard. Tyler’s infectious smile and laugh will live on forever through those who loved him. Gone way too soon but never to be forgotten.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Timothy and Donna McAloon, as well as the love of his life, Sarah. He is also survived by his grandfather, John Gatta, as well as loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Tyler is preceded in death by his grandmother, Joyce Gatta, grandfather, Terrence McAloon, and grandmother, Theresa McAloon.
