Vincent J. Malatesta

Vincent J. Malatesta, age 51, of Claymont, DE, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2023.

Vince was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed all of the Philadelphia sports teams. He loved going to his shore home and spending time with his German shepherds as well as his brother Lou. Vince loved riding his electric bike and going to weekend activities like the Irish festival, barbecue championships, and car shows with his brother. He enjoyed classic and modern muscle cars and he especially loved his 2012 lava red Mustang GT, which was his favorite car. Vince also enjoyed going to the Barrett Jackson and Mecum auto auctions.

Vince was a great personality and a joy to be around and he will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father Lou in 2001 and his mother Jackie in 2020. Vince is survived by his brother, Lou Malatesta.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 1-2:00 pm at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm at Gebhart Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
