William W. Graffus, Jr.

William W. Graffus, Jr., age 69, of Seaford, DE died Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

William was an operating engineer and a member of local 542.  He also repaired lawn mowers and snowmobiles.  He attended St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School and he was a graduate of Salesianum School.  William was a member of the Knights of Columbus Christopher Council in Claymont, DE.

He was predeceased by his parents, William W. Graffus, Sr. and Edith Graffus; his first wife, Ethel Graffus; and 2 children, Mickey and Heather.

He is survived by his wife, Rose E. Scott-Graffus of Seaford, DE; his sisters, Anne Supplee (Charlie) of Florida, Noreen Hill (Scott) of Virginia, Ella Kelly of Florida and Janet of Claymont, DE; his daughters, Shannon Graffus (Mike) of Georgia, Carrie Hagen (Alex) of Delaware and Holly Ashmore (Colin) of Pennsylvania; and 6 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.  Burial will be private.
