Barbara Grady - known as "Grady" to us was a wonderful nurse who kept the Prep & Holding area at Christiana Hospital humming along. She was well organized to keep the OR's running smoothly but most importantly she was a very compassionate and caring nurse to all especially the patients whom she encountered every day. No matter how busy it was, "Grady" was always there for the patients and for the staff. Rest in peace Grady and thanks for everything you did.

I knew Barb from the Wilm. Gen. and Christiana. I loved working with her because she was all about taking care of business and having a good laugh along the way. She was always thinking ahead to make sure things went smoothly for all involved and especially the patient. The patient was always first with her, and if someone forgot that fact, she would remind you. She was truly a wonderful person and comrade in the war against illness. She left a good mark on her profession and all of her family should be very proud.
