David Michael Brady

David Michael Brady, 57, of New Castle, DE, passed away on January 4, 2018. 

A life-long resident of Delaware, Dave grew up in Claymont, and graduated from Claymont High School. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.   Dave very much enjoyed the rich history and nature that Delaware has to offer, by hiking with his wife, Lisa, in our many parks and nature trails. He also enjoyed his time on his grandfather's boat, at the Delaware shores.

Dave loved spending time with his wife, family and friends, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, whether it be a stranger, friend, or family.  He loved planes and aspired to be a pilot. He loved history, cars, music, and especially animals.  He was involved in animal rescue and adored his cats, Ziggy and Casey. Dave also had a great sense of humor.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and John Brady. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Brady(Kirk); 2 brothers, John and Michael; and his son, Jimmy, wife Lauren; and granddaughter, Makenna.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to St. Francis Compassionate Care Hospice, for their love, support and care shown during his stay.

Our hearts are broken and Dave will be immensely missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30am on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 7 Sharpley Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803. Friends may call at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  Burial will be private.
