John L. McDaniel

John L. McDaniel, Jr., 72, of Claymont passed away suddenly on October 17, 2009.

Born in Wilmington, he was the son of the late: John L., Sr. and Dorothy Mallone McDaniel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a truck driver. He was a member of the American Legion and a lifetime member of the NRA.

John is survived his son: John IV and his wife: Stephanie, son: James A., and daughter: Joanne C. Robinson and her husband; Ted; grandchildren: Hannah, Grayce and Daniel; sister: Martha Cataldi and her husband: Buddy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009 at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 where the family will receive guests starting at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Toys for Tots.
